Ryan C. Wood is a founding partner with The Law Offices of Lin and Wood. Mr. Wood was born and raised in Merced, California. Merced is located between Modesto and Fresno in the San Joaquin Valley of California. Mr. Wood attended the University of California, Irvine and double majored in Criminology Law & Society and Environmental Analysis and Design. Mr. Wood then attended Whittier Law School earning his Juris Doctor.
Mr. Wood has a diverse background and concentrates on Creditor Rights, Judgment Enforcement, Business Law, Bankruptcy and Estate Planning. Mr. Wood is currently the corporate counsel for a 501(c)(3) charity, Pacific Locomotive Association, Inc. dba Niles Canyon Railway. Mr. Wood was also the former staff counsel for David Burchard, the Chapter 13 Trustee for the San Francisco and Santa Rosa Divisions of the Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of California. During high school and college Mr. Wood worked as a dishwasher, precook, cook, barista at Starbucks, administrative assistance, package handler with UPS and as a law clerk. When not at work Mr. Wood enjoys spending time with his family, traveling to new places and countries, hiking, biking and every now and again helping Habitat for Humanity build housing for low income families. Mr. Wood is proud to be part of a Bay Area Bankruptcy Law Firm and Creditor Rights Law Firm.
Kitty J. Lin is a founding partner with The Law Offices of Lin and Wood. Ms. Lin was born in China and moved the United States when she was four. Ms. Lin attended the University of San Francisco and earned an undergraduate degree in Finance. Ms. Lin then attended Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, California earning her Juris Doctor. Her story is a great example of what hard work and dedication to education can achieve. Ms. Lin concentrates on Bankruptcy, Business Formation, Estate Planning and Family Law. Ms. Lin was named a “Rising Star” in Northern California’s “Super Lawyers” list for 2010 and 2013 in the area of consumer bankruptcy.
Ms. Lin has worked for a variety of different entities, ranging from private firms to governmental entities. Ms. Lin was in internal audit intern at the San Francisco Federal Reserve Bank while she was earning her undergraduate degree. After she graduated with her Finance degree, she worked as a financial analyst in a mortgage lending bank. While Ms. Lin was in law school, she clerked in a private personal injury firm. She also externed with the U.S. Attorney’s Office and later with the Chief Bankruptcy Judge for the Central District (at that time). Mr. Lin is proud to part of a Bay Area Estate Planning Law Firm and Family Law Firm.
